COMING TO PHOENIX, ARIZONA
For 9 1/2 million years we lived and survived using intuition until we learned how to talk 40 thousand years ago. Our psychic ability to sense reality was replaced with the psychotic attempt to figure it out relying on the limited comprehension of the conscious mind. Focused on “what does it mean,” instead of what is, we got lost in the translation of feelings into ambiguous language, and all went downhill since then. Soon men went to Mars, women went to Venus, communication became hell on Earth and we have not been able to understand each other since logic replaced intuition. Einstein said “The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We’ve created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.”
Intuition has been described as “unconscious intelligence.” or as the innate knowing. It’s a nonconscious awareness, a sense that motivates you to act quickly, automatically, and without effort. It doesn’t lend itself to logical argument, reasons, or even language. It’s holistic, concrete, and predates comprehension in our evolutionary history. It is often about recognizing a cue, a clue, sign, or a pattern from experience and knowing instinctively what does it mean. It is also the one bit of information against which we measure our critical thinking as a final confirmation of our decisions. Intuition is the mystery of knowing without knowing.
Deliberation is the exact opposite of intuition. It’s methodical processing, parallel computing of dualities, more or less divorced from emotion, and can be defined by careful analysis and logical arguments. It’s a skill humans evolved less than forty thousand years ago, a fraction of the history of life evolution. In many cases, deliberation slows you down and confuses with irrelevant information. The worse side effect of the divorce between intuition and consideration is the increased risk that we can convince ourselves to make the wrong decision based on logic only, as logic only relies on the past and does can not factor the present or the future possibilities as the facts are not available just yet.
Psychic intelligence is called something else. Its called “luck”. Dr. Stephen Simpson spoke about how many people work hard and they don’t have much to show and then a few lucky ones work less, have more fun and strike gold. What is their secret? They spend more time in the unconscious mind or in the psyche, the soul, in the unconscious. The unconscious mind is bigger, faster and way more powerful than the conscious mind, and its language is intuition. The more one connects to intuition, the more the synchronicity will flow and the luckier you will get.
The psychic intellect is not a myth, and it’s not power. It’s the marriage between intuition or situational awareness and emotional intelligence. It’s a dormant advantage and tremendous leverage when you know how to access it. And when you have intuition, opportunity, and preparation, you have luck!
